Before my fight in Thailand I had a very hard time with my Hip Flexors. I mean they were extremely tight making my Muay Thai kicks ineffective.

Because I seldom stretched as a pro athlete, as I got older, my hips became tighter and tighter. For Muay Thai, the kicking motion and power comes from the hips and in MMA or boxing when you punch, the power also comes from the hips.

Enter Steve Delaney of PhysioMed who showed me three key stretches that I did before training to help with my hip mobility, flexibility and put the power back into my kicks.
